Marcy + Dan Married!

It was the Fourth of July, when Marcy and Dan’s wedding took place. Everything about their day was perfect, the weather, the arrangements, the location, and of course themselves. They got married at the lovely Gardens at Rocky Meadows and what a perfect location for their wedding.

When discussing their wedding details, Marcy informed me that her daughter, Melinda, would be hand-picking her bouquet from the flowers that were nestled in the gardens! I was so thrilled to photograph such a unique event. Their wedding was so intimate and beautiful and I was honored to have captured something so beautiful. Carson City: Frontier Days

It was the Carson City Frontier Days during the first weekend in June. Everybody involved was excited once again but this time, I had my dearest college friend, Marcia, help out with the flyers and a new driver. The weather was warm but it was nothing compared to the pace of the parade. I felt so bad because my job was easy (stand there and take pictures of everyone) and Todd and Marcia were basically sprinting the entire parade to keep up. I have never been involved with such a fast-paced parade.

Other than that, I met a lot of new people and amazingly enough, people I haven’t seen in years. It was so much fun and again I want to thank everyone involved: Todd, Marcia, Ashley, Trevor, Haylie, and Tanner. You guys are helping me make my dreams come true!

Marcy + Dan Engaged!

Last week I received a special phone call from my new photography friend Jim and he informed me of a couple that needed a photographer for their wedding. I was very excited and was grateful he referred them to me :) When I spoke with Marcy on the phone, she stated she and her fiancé, Dan, were having a very small outdoor ceremony. I had a huge smile on my face because not only is it my second wedding, but my first outdoor wedding!

During their engagement session, it was constant laughter. Even at the end of the session, Melinda was even coming out of her shell.

Thanks Marcy and Dan for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I’m looking forward to your wedding!

Baby Tyler

I can honestly say that I have never been excited to edit a photography session--until now. Meet baby Tyler! He is an angel and a very handsome young man. I first photographed him when he was in his mom's belly now he's just a few weeks old and already having women swooning over him. To see Tonya's Maternity session, click here.

This was my first newborn session and I have to admit, I was so pleased how everything turned out. I had so many favorite images to choose from, it was so hard to narrow it down for the blog. Thanks for allowing me to photograph these precious memories. I am, without a doubt, enlarging some of these images and displaying them in the studio!
