Holly + Joey Engaged!
On Valentine's Day I met with Holly, Joey, and her three children at a local sportsman's club to shoot their session. Seems how the children were there, we felt this was a perfect opportunity to squeeze in a mini family session. Yes it was cold, but it seemed that everyone had fun. I had a blast and I can't wait for their wedding. I am excited and nervous at the same time seems this will be my first wedding. There was definitely love in the air....

Crossroads Cafe Gallery
Boy oh boy—do I have some good news! First off, there is this local restaurant that has an awesome Friday night Fish Fry called the Smorgasbord. I swear…it has the best tasting fish I have ever had in my life. So one day we were sitting in the restaurant and I had an epiphany. I thought, “I wonder if the owner would be interested in hanging my pictures in her restaurant?”
To make a long story short, she agreed and I was the happiest photographer in Montcalm County. What’s even better is that from the time I hung my prints to the time I posted this blog—two prints have already sold!
So if anyone is near the area or needs to see this firsthand, I highly recommend checking it out. They are located on the corner of M-66 and Sidney road in Stanton. You can’t miss it. If you need to find out more information about their fabulous menu, call 989-831-4494.

Zehnder's Snowfest
Hello everyone,
For our winter getaway, we decided to pack up the car and head over to Frakenmuth to witness firsthand the Zehnder’s Snowfest. I have heard nothing but good things about the festival and I was floored when I saw the raw talent of the artists and the intricate details of their sculptures.
We arrived at 7 pm on Friday and luckily some of the artists were still working on their pieces.
There were competitions going on all weekend. I was so impressed how these teams worked so quickly.
It's hard to imagine that something like this could turn into.....
There were too many snow sculptures to post here, so I will only show you a handful of my favorites.
Even with all the winter beauty surrounding me, I still had to take notice to Frakenmuth's heritage.
Even my precious baby boy Dozer got to enjoy all the festivities!
After warming up with a delicious cup of hot chocolate, we all got to enjoy the fireworks display and the hot air balloon glow. Unfortunately, the wind put a damper on the glow, but I did manage to capture a few shots.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. I hated to leave, but I am looking forward to next year.
