Happy New Year!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hopefully 2009 will be a better year for everyone (I know I'm looking forward to it!). I have a few more hours to get my resolutions in order...we'll see how long they last.

(Bull) Dozer (Ground Breaker)

Hello all,

I have a huge soft spot for big and lazy cuddle dogs and I finally found my baby! His name is Dozer and he is our new addition to the family. Dozer is an Old English Bulldog and he is everything I have ever wanted in a puppy….big, lazy, and loving. But what I love most about him is his loud snoring! When I first saw him….it was love at first sight

Here are a few images that make my heart melt. If anybody is interested in purchasing one of his brothers, you better act fast. She has one left of this litter but don’t worry…there is another litter with the expected arrival of January 12.

Full Aperture Photography

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to elaborate once again how new this blogging stuff is to me. I have only heard of it just recently and decided to jump on the band wagon. I wanted to take this opportunity to let anyone who reads this know what I am all about.

I am a one person business-woman who has always had a passion for the camera. I decided to branch off and start a business and the easiest thing so far was coming up with the name…so I thought! I wanted to name my photography business something that would be easier than the trying to pronounce my first name. I decide on Full Aperture Photography, and I must admit if I were to do it all over again, I would change it.

I still don’t have a better idea …it seems that people struggle with aperture so no matter what—Aperture or Leilani it’s a battle. So now that everything is out in the open, welcome to Full Aperture Photography by Leilani Tucker. There that sums it all up!!!

All Hail Haylie

Allow me to introduce you to Haylie. She as been one of my most photograph subjects for quite some time. Not only does she love the camera, she loves picking her own backgrounds (talk about making my job easier!). She really knows how to move and definitely smile for the camera! Thanks Hail for being so inventive.

Two Perfect

Oh yes….the incredible twosome. These two sisters were so much fun to work with. It was my first session shooting as Full Aperture and I was a little nervous. I’m glad we all got along so well--it really made the entire shoot a blast! I look forward for many more of these shoots to come. Thank you ladies...Enjoy!

Allison, Sweet Allison

Everybody meet Allison…what a fireball! During the shoot she was all about two things…her sister Rachel and her beloved stick. Luckily she didn’t turn against her sister and used it as a weapon! I managed to sneak in a couple of shots without her new companion; however, I feel it’s necessary to give homage something that she was so attached to. Enjoy!

Rachel's Shoot

I had a huge opportunity to photograph Rachel and her adorable sister in the comfort of thier own backyard and along a beautiful nature trail. What a day full of wild events that ranged from encounters with kitty cats, fascination with sticks, and of course the usual tresspassing (shhh...our little secret). Tan is the Man
