To Reunite or Not to Reunite...

Okay….so this is more of a personal post and I need your help!! The last thing I want to do is embarrass my dearest friends, but then again, we are friends so why not! This year will mark my 10th year high school reunion. I am thinking about attending and see some old faces, but my dearest friend, Elizabeth, doesn’t seem to think highly of it.

Here is where I need your help. Feel free to leave a comment on why or why not we should attend--also if you have any interesting stories I would love to hear them. I will present them all to her and hopefully we will be skipping together to our reunion this summer.

In closing, I am including some very high-quality images that I think will spark some fantastic memories during those precious high school times. I hope she doesn’t kill me…but isn’t that what friends are for?

I will give an update later this summer and hopefully have some pictures of the experience.

In the meantime, I will keep my fingers crossed. ~thanks

Behnid the Image--Ionia Building

Welcome again to Behind the Image. It has been tough these past few days trying to fight off this sickness, but I’m trying with all my might. There is nothing worse than not having a voice to express a statement or make a joke of something. I am at war with the little green Mucinex guys!!

So back to the subject at hand—this image was taken during last summer in Ionia when I was on my way to a meeting. I had an hour to kill and thought I would take a walk and see where trespassing would get me. I instantly fell in love with this site and would love to photograph someone here. I think maybe in the summer I can convince someone who is looking for an urban setting.

When I look at this picture, I remember how nice and warm it was and I knowing I could scream at the top of my lungs if I wanted to ….maybe in a week I could go back to talking, but it may be a while for the weather to warm up.

All Green with Love

The other day I was at my favorite craft store and I stumbled upon a green canvas bag. I love canvas and especially anything that looks rugged and ragged. I wanted to take it home and give it some love but I didn’t really have a purpose for it—then it hit me—my very own personalized camera bag. Believe me, I know there are some high-end camera bags that are very well known but I wanted to create my own bag that advertises my company rather than someone else. So with much thought and pieces parts of my old camera bag mesh together with the new, I created my masterpiece! Behold my personalized camera bag that I think can hold its own against any other bag.

With this new bag affixed to my hip, I am ready to take the photography industry by storm!! Well at least give it a "college try."
