The Cat's out of the Bag!!

Okay...so I'm so excited about this I can't keep it a secret any longer. I posted something earlier that was kind of a head's up for what is to come and....well here it is.

On Memorial Day, Full Aperture Photography is going to be participating in the big town of Sheridan's Spring Fest Parade. This is going to be our first parade and everybody involved is so excited (this will be the first of three parades).

So to get to the point, there will be some magnificent people handing out flyers to the wonderful crowd. There will be a free drawing that will allow for one special senior to get their senior session for FREE! Yes, that's right FREE!

There is a catch however....this senior must be graduating from the class of 2010. So head on over to the website and click on the link to enter. The winner will be randomly drawn on Monday, July 20, 2009. Please don't forget to leave your email address--that will be my only means of notifying the winner besides posting it here. Please only one entry per senior.

Thanks and good luck to all the participants!!

Senior Shoot: Adam

I was so happy when I got the phone call to capture Adam’s senior pictures! Luckily I already knew Adam and knew he wasn’t the studio type, so we headed out to some great locations. The weather was perfect and the session was short and sweet. Here’s your preview… Enjoy!

Spring has Sprung!!!!

So spring is officially underway and what better way to celebrate spring by posting some of my favorite images of what spring means to me. I think that spring means many things....but here are my top three:

1.) Morel Mushrooms
2.) Flowers
3.) Turkey Hunting

Of course if anybody knows me at all, they realize that I love my Dozer with all of my being and I had to incorporate him in some stellar pictures of him enjoying stopping and smelling the flowers as well. But he unfortunately can’t be in every picture so I had the opportunity to photograph my other top two without him.

So here’s to spring. I welcome it just like I am welcoming summer with arms wide open!! Oh—by the way, if you are totally digging the morel mushroom pictures like I am….just wait a few days. I have some killer pictures of some incredible mushrooms that will make your head spin. I have to pace myself….so please be patient. I promise I will post them soon. Right now I am at a top secret location and I will inform you in the near future of what’s going on….believe me, you’ll want to be here next year!!

Take care and think happy thoughts of spring!!

And the Winner is......

Congratulations to Coach Daggett’s team for winning such an intense contest!

Soccer Team Contest

WOW...I didn’t realize how many people would participate. The last half hour was so intense, I was biting my finger nails the entire time. It was a pretty close race between Coach Daggett and Coach Vissman and Coach Ryan had some pretty strong supporters as well!

Despite the unfortunate mishap with the polls closing so early, I hope people still had fun and found this contest unique and different. I had a great time and I hope to have this opportunity again in the near future.

Congratulations again to Coach Daggett’s team for totaling 289 amazing votes! Your prints will be handed out with your pictures on Saturday and will be displayed in the window of the studio!

As for the remaining teams, these crazy team photos will be available for purchase for the next few weeks. Contact me if you would like to place an order.

Thanks again for everyone’s participation. If you are from the graduating class of 2010 or know someone who is, check back soon because I am having another contest!! I can’t say too much because it’s a secret. (shhh …only the blog readers get the first dibs on what’s going on). So check back soon to get the first scoop!

Montcalm SAY Polls are Re-opened!

For everyone in the voting world out there for the SAY Soccer Team, I am sorry. I tried to do something funny and different by allowing kids to be kids and of course something had to go wrong. I do apologize for the voting polls closing so early on Sunday night.

The best idea I could come up with is to have the polls open for a few more days. I will manually shut off the timer myself so there will be no other issues to deal with other than announcing the team winner (I am sorry but there can only be one winner).

Some people may be happy with this, I'm sure there are some people who will not. I wish I could make everyone happy, but this is the best solution I could come up with. So with everything that happened.....the polls are opened again!!

The polls will close on Thursday, May 14th at 4:30 p.m. (I will do this manually.)

Thanks again for everyone's participation. To see the pictures of the teams, scroll down to the next post.

Montcalm SAY Soccer League

Welcome to the Montcalm SAY Craziest/Funniest Team Contest! Here is where you will be able to cast your vote for your favorite team. The team with the most votes will be the craziest winner and each member will receive a free 5 x 7 of this hilarious moment. The winning team’s photo will also be displayed in the studio located in downtown Stanton!

The voting polls will close on Sunday, May 10th at 11:59 pm. So call all your friends, relatives, and your next door neighbors to come here and cast their votes!

Thank you for all your participation! Not only did I have a great time, my sides hurt from laughing so much while editing these pictures. To vote, simply scroll down to the bottom of this post and select your team.

Thanks again and good luck!
