Montcalm SAY Soccer League

Welcome to the Montcalm SAY Craziest/Funniest Team Contest! Here is where you will be able to cast your vote for your favorite team. The team with the most votes will be the craziest winner and each member will receive a free 5 x 7 of this hilarious moment. The winning team’s photo will also be displayed in the studio located in downtown Stanton!

The voting polls will close on Sunday, May 10th at 11:59 pm. So call all your friends, relatives, and your next door neighbors to come here and cast their votes!

Thank you for all your participation! Not only did I have a great time, my sides hurt from laughing so much while editing these pictures. To vote, simply scroll down to the bottom of this post and select your team.

Thanks again and good luck!

This is so great. It was so hard to pick a favorite team. They all are so cute and creative. Good job on your first huge project Leilani the picks turned out really nice. And what a great idea I wish my sport photographer was fun like you.

Why is the polling already closed I went to vote at 8:30 pm on may 10 and it says it is open until 11:59 pm I was voting for VISSMAN-JOHNSTON TEAM and then they would have been tied for first and I know someone else was going to vote so this would have made VISSMAN-JOHNSTON TEAM the winner how are you going to fix this

Why is the polling closed at 9:27 P.M when it says it will be open until 11:59 P.M. on May 10th?? I was going to make a vote for Vissman-Johnston Team and then they would have been the winners!! What is going to be done?????

Thanks,
Millie King

There is no way to know who would have had the most votes at 11:59. I am sure there would have been MANY people voting for their favorites. Could have gone either way. Thank you for participating, however.

Seems how this wasn't done fairly I feel both teams should get a free 5x7 for each team member. That would be the only fair way to solve this because the rules were not followed. You can't close a voting poll hours before you said it would be closed.

This contest was fun, I hope we can do something like it again next year. I was a little disappointed that the team I voted for didn't win but I was happy to have participated. We lead by example to our kids when we are good sports, even when we don't get first place.

I don't think that anyone was trying to be a bad sport. I just think that the people just simply feel the voting polls should not have been closed until 11:59, as it was posted on the site.

It is not showing that you are a bad sport when someone cheated to win by not following the rules that is the bad sport part it is not fair to teach children that it is ok to be dishonest the photographer should admit to the wrong doing by making it right to the top two teams by giving them both free 5x7's to each team member

OH MY GOODNESS!! No one cheated!! The polling is run by an outside program from what I could see and if their computer messed up, then it is no ones fault....just lovely technology. I am sure the photographer will make right on it or give us another day to vote. I can't believe this has become such an issue!! WOW.

I'm sorry for the people who attempted to vote late Sunday night. I am extending the votes until Thursday, May 14 at 4:30 p.m. I am manually closing down the polls myself. You know what they say, "You want something done right, you have to do it yourself." Once again, I apologize for the technical malfunction.

wow people, I can't believe that there are that many ignorant adults in this world. The comments that are left on here I feel are completely uncalled for. First, way to wait for the last minute to vote. I voted for my fav. when the polls opened.
Second, to flip out and make accusations that your team would of won and that the photographer was cheating is unbelievable. This is her business you think she wants to make people mad at her. No one even gave her time to reconcile the problem. She probably didn't even know the polls closed early. It is not like she is going to be on the computer 24-7.
I am sorry. I think that Leilani did a great thing to let the children have fun and express themselves and some people could possibly ruin that from happening again.
I know if I was a photographer or anything where I got such rude responses I probably wouldn't do it again. So if you actually liked the competition I would really expect a lot of appoligies going her way.

Marcia, you took the words right out of my mouth. Poor Leilani! Hope this does nothing to change her mind about doing this kind of thing again. I think people should be ashamed of themselves. Thank you, Leilani, for fixing the problem!

Whoa...I think people might have took what I posted out of content. In no way shape or form did I want to come off as a bad sport, ignorant, or bad person. I just wanted to know why the voting poll was closed so early. I read the post posted before me and seen that two other people were going to vote for my team and though it would have been nice for the poll to be open. If I rubbed anyone the wrong way I do apologize.
Thanks again,
Millie King

I would like to say I am blowen away at the nerve of some people! Here we have a woman who went well out of her way to make this years soccer picture shoots something fun for OUR Children and then we have ADULTS complaining and nitpicking at little misshaps!!! I thank those of you that were so rude need to take a step back and look at this as a whole.
I would like to give Leilani my full appologies and hope she will not hold this against our league in the future. I am just becoming aware of this because I voted when the poles opened and not when they ended. Again Leilani I'm sorry!!! VP.

I am shocked that some parents are on here saying that people cheated to win a picture. You act like she was giving away a million bucks. Seriously people you need to grow up!!
